Once again, CBS is discovering that "Survivor" isn't just a time period success story on Thursday nights at 8 p.m.

"The Cut," a reality drama hosted by fashion icon Tommy Hilfiger, is leaving its Thursday home after a quick flameout on the important night. Starting on Wednesday, July 6, "The Cut" will move to Wednesdays at 8 p.m., while "Big Brother 6" will take the Thursday 8 p.m. slot beginning the following night.

In its first airing last week, "The Cut" averaged only 6.6 million viewers. Last night (Thursday, June 16), the show suffered a 14 percent ratings decline among adults 18-49 and failed to find any new traction.

This winter, CBS tried to put "Wickedly Perfect," a domestic diva reality show," in the Thursday "Survivor" slot and had to move it after only three airings, determining that forensic drama repeats would deliver better ratings.
